Affordable Healthcare’s Next Act Comments

The goal of the symposium is to explore the challenges the Affordable Care Act presents, the opportunities it offers, and the gaps it has failed to fill as well as the ones it has newly created. Affordable Healthcare’s Next Act is presented by The Gitenstein Institute for Health Law and Policy as part of the Garfunkel Wild, P.C. Thought Leadership in Action Speaker Series

Panel discussions include:

  • Social Justice: The Best Preventative Medicine
  • Missing Pieces in the Affordable Care Act “Puzzle”
  • Implementing National Policy: From Birth to End-of-Life
  • Breaking the Bonds of Professional Silos

Keynote Speaker: Wendell Potter
Following a 20-year career as a corporate public relations executive, Wendell Potter left his position as head of communications for Cigna, one of the nation's largest health insurers, to help socially responsible organizations, including those advocating for meaningful healthcare reform, achieve their goals.
