Does Washington Still Work? Challenges of Policy Making for the White House and Congress Comments

Join us for a panel that examines President Barack Obama’s second-term legislative leadership, focusing on problems as well as prospects for policy making with the 113th Congress. Topics for discussion during  “Does Washington Still Work?  Challenges of Policy Making for the White House and Congress” will include the sequester, budget negotiations, immigration, health care, and foreign policy.  This event is co-sponsored by the Peter S. Kalikow Center for the Study of the American Presidency at Hofstra University and the National Center for Suburban Studies at Hofstra University.
