Global Explorations for Adults at the HUM Comments

This popular program continues with explorations of the world’s diverse cultures through the study and discussion of authentic objects and works of art from the HUM collections. Kristy Caratzola, the Museum’s collections manager (who is also an adjunct professor of art history) leads each hour-long session where participants explore a different facet of selected cultures each month. Participants enjoy the personal connections between their own life experiences and the objects presented. November’s topic: Gender Roles in Non-Western Cultures.
