Hofstra Opera Theater presented by the Hofstra University Department of Music Comments

The Hofstra Opera Theater will be performing two, one-act operas: Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas followed by Christoph Glück’s The Reformed Drunk.  This performance will be led by Isabel Milenskiartistic director and Adam Glasermusical director.

Dates/Times:  Friday, January 31, 2014, 7:30 p.m.

                     Saturday, February 1, 2014, 7:30 p.m.

                     Sunday, February 2, 2014, 3 p.m.

Location: John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus

Tickets:  $15 general admission; $12 senior citizen (over 65) or matriculated non-Hofstra student with ID; Two free tickets with current faculty/staff/student HofstraCard.

 

Tickets on sale beginning January 7.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
