Coping With the New Normal: Life After Sandy Comments

We invite you to attend this free forum, designed for professionals working in positions that involve close interaction with the community. Many individuals and families impacted by Superstorm Sandy
continue to experience its residual effects and are in need of support services. Join us for an interactive discussion about the impact of the storm on individuals and communities with an exploration of community-identified areas of need. We will share information on free and nominally priced resources that are available locally.

Presented by Community C.A.R.E. (Collaborative Alliance for Recovery and Empowerment)

The following institutions or organizations comprise the Community C.A.R.E. coalition:
• Hofstra University’s Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center
• Family and Children’s Association

• Nassau BOCES

Free admission.
Doors open at 8 a.m. for registration and networking. Breakfast and panel discussion begin at 8:30 a.m. Advance registration preferred; register online here. RSVP by May 14, 2013.
