Radio Hofstra University 3rd Annual Alumni Marathon Comments

Radio Hofstra University 3rd Annual Alumni Marathon will be held from Sunday, June 2, 2013 to Sunday, June 9, 2013. Last year over 120 Hofstra alumni participated in studio, over the phone, and on line. Alumni hosted shows with current Hofstra students and staff making for a very exciting and entertaining event.

Once again this year, Radio Hofstra Alumni can request to co-host an existing regularly scheduled WRHU program with a current WRHU staff member. Requests can be sent via email to WRHU Personnel Director Dilpreet Kainth. If you can not make it down to the station be sure to call in during the marathon at 516-463-5001 and listen on-air via 88.7FM in NY, online via at WRHU.org, or on your mobile device via the WRHU I phone app.

This year’s alumni marathon kicks off Sunday evening June 2, 2013 at 8 p.m. with a special edition of the long running Hofstra Pride sports talk show “The Locker Room” hosted by current WRHU student sportscasters with numerous Hofstra radio alumni. The Marathon will conclude at 9 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013.

No matter when you participated at Radio Hofstra university (1950′s, 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, 90′s, or 2000′s) we want to hear from you!

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
