Chinese Cultural Training Comments

Come to this insightful presentation to learn more about Chinese culture. In particular, participants will learn more about the trends of education in the USA particularly international recruitments in regard to Chinese students, some of the key cultural components to understand the values, beliefs, and behaviors of the Chinese, as well as develop a better understanding of the unique needs of our Chinese student population.  In addition, it will provide Chinese students with more information on how to better adjust to their studies and life at Hofstra. This training is designed for the entire Hofstra community: all faculty, administrators, staff and students are welcome to attend. This training is designed by Dr. Ying Qiu, director of the Asia Center, and Jenn Christ, director of the Multicultural & International Student Programs Office.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
