Dignity Act (DASA) Update Comments

Effective July 1, 2013, one year after DASA went into effect, the new amendments broaden the scope of the Dignity Act. This workshop will allow participants to share the success of their first year Dignity Act implementation and to facilitate conversation about the new requirements of the law. Topics to be addressed are: cyberbullying, regulations for pre-teacher certification, and more stringent requirements for reporting both bullying and cyberbullying.

Registration fee includes light dinner at beginning of conference.  PD certificates/DAC training completion will be issued.

This event will take place in the East, West, and Middle Plaza Rooms of the Mack Student Center, North Campus.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
