Minority and Success in Business Panel
The focus of this event would be minorities. The panelist will discuss how they manage to be successful today in business, what are the stereotypes that they face and how they push through and climb the corporate ladder. How do they use their minority status to their advantage (bringing a new perspective on how to get things done, having a fresh ideas, being able to assist teams who’s focus is on the consumer of one’s own culture, etc..). This event is co-sponsored by Iota Phi Alpa (representing Hispanics), NAACP (representing African Americans), and the Pride Network (representing the LGBT group).
