Globalization Day 2013--Harvest of Empire: The Untold Story of Latinos in America Comments

The Center for Civic Engagement at Hofstra University presents Globalization Day 2013 on March 19. A screening of Harvest of Empire: The Untold Story of Latinos in America, the feature documentary based on the award-winning book by journalist Juan Gonzalez about the history of migration into the U.S. and its roots in Washington’s policies in Latin America, will be held at 11:15 a.m.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
