Spring 2013 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony 2 Comments

The Undergraduate Ceremony 2, featuring Debra A. Sandler ’82, President of Mars Chocolate North America, will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex. Graduates will be members of the Frank G. Zarb School of Business and the School of Communication.

The Graduate Ceremony (All Schools) will be held at 6 p.m. in the David S. Mack Sports and Exhibition Complex

Hofstra alumna Debra A. Sandler is president of Mars Chocolate North America. She is responsible for the Chocolate operations in the region, as well as serving as the Global TWIX® Brand Strategic Leader for Mars, Inc. Before joining Mars Chocolate North America, Ms. Sandler served as worldwide president at McNeil Nutritionals LLC, a division of Johnson & Johnson (J&J). Ms. Sandler has been recognized by Fast Company as one of “The 100 Most Creative People in Business 2011” and by Black Enterprise as one of the “Most Influential Women in Business” and “Person of the Year.” Ms. Sandler has served on the Board of Trustees at Hofstra University since 2008.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
