P.R.I.D.E. Week: 'D' - Diversity and Community Comments
As Hofstra students, you have the unique opportunity to gain an important set of skills only promoted by our university. These principles are the P.R.I.D.E. principles, which include Personal and Social Responsibility, Respect for Self and Others, Integrity, Ethics and Leadership, Diversity and Community, and Expression and Free Exchange. To promote these principles and encourage students to graduate with P.R.I.D.E., The Division of Student Affairs is sponsoring the second annual Hofstra P.R.I.D.E. Week, February 25 - March 1, 2013.
Each day of the week will represent a letter of P.R.I.D.E. and students are encouraged to attend as many events as possible. All of the events in P.R.I.D.E. Week are outlined below on their respective days, and we encourage you to also “Pay Your P.R.I.D.E. Forward” and engage in random acts of kindness throughout the week (click here for some inspiration!). Make sure to get involved and show your P.R.I.D.E.!
