15th Annual Conference - Safer Neighborhoods: Schools, Communities and Justice Comments

This conference will present an intergrated approach to maintaining safety in our communities in conjunction with neighborhoods, schools and the justice system. 

Lisa Macaluso, technical Assistance/Team Leader, The Annie E. Casey Foundation, will speak about the Foundation's Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative (JDAI). The applications of these initiative in NYS will be presented.

Alfonso Wyatt will present the second keynote at lunch.  He will address the concept: It Takes a Village.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
