Hofstra in China Study Abroad Information Meeting Comments
The Hofstra in China Program will establish its base in Shanghai, the most well-known metropolitan city in China, where brilliant neon lights, stylish skyscrapers along with private gardens of the imperial period best project today's Chinese identity: a country both ancient and modern. The program will take place at East China Normal University, which boasts the most beautiful campus in Shanghai. While selectively taking courses in Chinese culture, literature and language, students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of cultural excursions.
Five Compelling Reasons to Visit China at This Time:
♦ To acquaint with a rising power in the East so as to re-orient your career direction
♦ To witness the amazing changes that are taking place in China
♦ To acquire one of the most useful languages in the world
♦ To experience the mystical oriental culture at its fountainhead
♦ To enjoy the spectacular beauty of China, both ancient and modern
Hofstra in China Program Summer I Session dates are from May 20-June 18, 2013. The information meeting will take place on Wednesday, February 13 during the common hour in Brower Hall Room 104.
