Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic Groups: Cancelled University Closed Comments

Due to inclement weather on Saturday February 9th, the University is closed and all campus activities are cancelled. For up-to-date campus information visit Campus Alerts.

The Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic at the Saltzman Community Services Center will hold two groups on Saturdays in Spring 2013. 

 

Saturday morning groups:

Caring for Caregivers: 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

This psycho-educational group will help those caring for a loved one learn healthy coping strategies, minimize stress, and gain emotional support.

Effective Parenting and Discipline: 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This weekly psycho-educational group for parents focuses on developing positive parenting strategies and effective discipline skills.
 

 

 

Cost is $15 per session. All sessions will take place in the Joan and Arnold Saltzman Community Services Center, South Campus. Registration is ongoing. Days and times are subject to change.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
