Irish Studies Program presents Irish Emigrants Lost at Sea Comments

The Irish Studies Program at Hofstra University presents Irish Emigrants Lost at Sea: Presentations by Catherine Shannon and Arthur Mattson on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.

In their presentations, the speakers offer contemporary accounts of three tragedies and trace the histories of their commemorations. Ms. Shannon is Professor Emerita of History at Westfield State College. Mr. Mattson is a local Long Island historian.

Date/Time: Wednesday, March 6 from 11:15 a.m. - 12:40 p.m.     

Location:  Room 143 of the Student Center (park on the north side of campus, walk into the Student Center, make an immediate right and then the next right)
