National Public Health Week -- VOICE Day 2017
VOICE stands for Vision of Integration, Choice, and Equality. The theme of VOICE Day, an event focused on issues that affect at-risk populations is Addressing the Quarter-Life Crises: Strengthening Youth and Young Adults. The mission of VOICE is to raise awareness, encourage advocacy, and provide a forum for the exchange of ideas on issues relevant to at-risk populations. The goal is to connect invested people to a common agenda for change and create avenues for community action.
As a continuing event focused on issues that impact at-risk populations, VOICE Day 2017 will be tackling the issues that affect young adults up to the age of 25. These events are aimed at high school and college students; teachers and administrators; community-based professionals; and families.
