Antony and Cleopatra Symposia Comments
A discussion and interpretation of the upcoming the 64th Annual Hofstra Shakespeare Festival presentation of Antony And Cleopatra. Love versus civic responsibility creates a dilemma for Antony that neither he nor Cleopatra can resolve or survive. One of Shakespeare’s greatest tragedies is grounded in the historical facts of one of history’s most famous romantic couples. Antony And Cleopatra by William Shakespeare will be directed by James J. Kolb from March 14 - Sunday March 24, 2013 at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus.
