This Bud of Love Symposium Comments

This Bud of Love is a one-hour version of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, adapted by Maureen Connolly McFeely. Directed by Cindy Rosenthal.  An excellent introduction to Shakespeare, suitable for young audiences. There will be a This Bud of Love Symposium on Wednesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus.

On Saturday, March 16 the Annual Hofstra Shakespeare Fesitval Musicale will be held featuring The Hofstra Collegium Musicum performing Star Crossed Lovers and the Department of Drama and Dance performing "This Bud of Love."

Additionally, a special performance of "This Bud of Love" will be held on Thursday, March 21 at 8 p.m. in the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
