Five Women Wearing The Same Dress presented by the Department of Drama and Dance Comments

This outrageous 1993 comedy takes place in a bridal reception in Knoxville, Tennessee, in the mid 1980s. Over the course of an hour and a half, numerous cocktails and other controlled substances, the play investigates the relationships, intrigues and traumas of a group of bridesmaids behind the scenes at a wedding none of them really wanted to attend. Five Women Wearing The Same Dress, by Alan Ball, is directed by Royston Coppenger and will be performed from Friday April 12 - Sunday April 21, 2013 at the Black Box Theater, New Academic Building, South Campus.

 

Show times:

Fridays, April 12 and 19, at 8 p.m.

Saturdays, April 13 and 20, at 8 p.m.

Sundays, April 14 and 21, at 2 p.m.

and Thursday, April 18, at 8 p.m.

 

Tickets:    $10, general admission

               $8 for senior citizens (over 65) or matriculated non-Hofstra students with ID.

                    Tickets on sale beginning March 12.
