Annual Hofstra Shakespeare Festival Musicale Comments
The Hofstra Collegium Musicum will perform Star Crossed Lovers under the direction of William E. Hettrick, and the Department of Drama and Dance will perform “This Bud Of Love,” a one-hour Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Guest artist Christopher Morrongiello, performing on the lute with the The Hofstra Collegium Musicum. “This Bud Of Love,” adapted by Maureen Connolly McFeely will be directed by Cindy Rosenthal. It is an excellent introduction to Shakespeare, suitable for young audiences.

$8 senior citizen (over 65) or matriculated non-Hofstra student with ID

A Special Performance of This Bud of Love will take place on Thursday, March 21 at 8 p.m. in the John Cranford Adams Playhouse, South Campus. (Tickets: $6/Two free tickets with current faculty/staff/matriculated student HofstraCard.)
