Winter Welcome for Parents Comments

Parents/guardians of first-year or transfer students starting in the spring 2013 are cordially invited to attend events of the Winter Welcome for Parents, on Thursday and Friday, January 24 and 25, 2013. On Thursday, when your residential students move in, we'll have a short parent reception, while on Friday, parents are invited to half-day orientation. 

 

Parent Programs Overview on Thursday, January 24
Administrators will present a short overview of services, programs and resources for parents. Lunch will be provided. This event will take place in Room 145 of the Student Center.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
