A Night of Spoken Word: Honoring Women

Hofstra Association of Black Journalists

This event will take place at 8:30 pm in the Plaza Room East

Featuring the award-winning spoken word artist Joshua Bennett and performances from

Spit and Various Artists.

 

Joshua Bennett is an award-winning performance poet. He has recited his original work at events such as the NAACP Image Awards and President Obama’s Evening of Poetry and Music at the White House. He was also featured on the original cast of Brave New Voices.

Parking Notice
Hofstra University is pleased to have the public join us for some of our on-campus events, which are held for the benefit of our students. Please be aware, when attending events during the school year, when classes are in session, parking is often limited on South Campus to faculty and students. There is additional parking available on North Campus, approximately a 10-minute walk from Adams Playhouse, through the Student Center and over the unispan. Thank you for your cooperation.
